The strengthening of US stocks caused mostly by Pfizer and Tesla

American stocks strengthened

All key Wall Street US stocks strengthened during Thursday’s trading. The S&P 500 aggregate index added the most, at nearly half a percent. Investors particularly appreciated the decision by pharmaceutical group Pfizer to acquire Reiral, an antivirals maker.

Remarkable strengthening of Pfizer stocks

Pharmaceutical company Pfizer strengthened 4.3 percent. Investors received positively news that Pfizer has plans to acquire Reviral into its portfolio with a half a blillion dollars acquisition. Reviral is a company that focuses on the development of antiviral drugs and has several substances among drug candidates that could be effective in suppressing Covid-19 disease.

Other US stocks development

Automaker Tesla, whose shares firmed by 1.2 percent, also participated in the rise in Wall Street stocks. Meanwhile, Tesla was losing at the start of trading, the turnaround came only shortly after noon local time. Indeed, the automaker announced the opening of a manufacturing facility in Texas that is crucial to fulfilling the automaker’s growth ambitions. Technology company Microsoft, which strenghtened by 0.6 percent, also saw moderate growth.
