Tension between UK and EU has escalated after a phone call between Angela Merkel and Boris Johnson.
During that call Merkel allegedly said that EU will almost certainly not accept Johnson’s offer. Even more importantly, Merkel allegedly stated that for a deal to be agreed to, Northern Ireland will have to stay in EU customs union.
