Rio Tinto merges with Schneider Electric for decarbonization

Multinational mining company Rio Tinto will start working with French group Schneider Electric to achieve decarbonisation targets.

Rio Tinto and Schneider Electric have agreed to support each other and help each other in their efforts to contribute to the global climate goal of preventing the planet Earth’s average temperature from rising by more than 1.5 degrees Celsius by the end of this century.

Schneider Electric, which in recent years has boasted a membership among the world’s most endearing companies, will use low-carbon aluminum and copper to produce its production, which will be supplied by rio tinto, a mining company. It will use renewable energy sources for mining. Rio Tinto will then rely on schneider electric’s supply of low-carbon solutions.

Rio Tinto and Schneider Electric are thus ousted alongside companies that have set themselves the goal of achieving carbon neutrality within a certain year. As a rule, until the middle of this century. Rio Tinto and Schneider Electric will continue to work together to develop innovations and technological innovations that will make it easier to achieve their goals.
