0,85 USD per share – 0,51 USD per share / -40%

Norwegian airline destroyed its rivals, when it managed to lower prices of transatlantic flights. Yet, it brought itself into losses. The company had been fighting with financial problems even before the pandemic, and coronavirus outbreak caused further decline of Norwegian Air Shuttle’s shares. Since April’s announcement of stimulus plan, which aims to exchange debt for company’s shares, value of the airline has been dropping in tens of per cent. Moreover, the company temporarily released 7,300 employees in March, that is 90% of workforce.
