City Index offers three types of accounts. Trader, Premium trader and professional trader accounts. Trader account provides risk management features including negative balance protection and margin close-out, Premium trader account offers priority service and a dedicated relationship manager to active retail clients, and competitive prices as well as risk management on every trade account. Professional trader is for experienced professional traders. Clients get broker-assisted dealing and have a dedicated Client Relationship Manager. However, you will not be entitled to the following benefits: Negative balance protection, 50% margin closeout and Lower leverage limits.

Costs

City Index offers competitive spreads on Forex, CFDs, and spread-betting products. Withdrawals are free and no minimum deposit is needed to open an account. However, £12 per month is charged to accounts with no activity for one year or longer.
